[00:05.960] related, any damage you have on your natural stone, that's where we come in.

[00:09.760] We're just going to do a little demonstration

[00:10.720] here on what lemon does to an untreated surface.

[00:20.480] On black surfaces, when you do get an etch mark, it shows really white,

[00:24.680] so it's really an eyesore. You'll be able to

[00:27.200] tell how the coating actually protects it.

[00:29.740] Even now, you can kind of see it starting to dissolve the calcium

[00:32.620] in the marble itself. You see the bubbling on here as well.

[00:38.120] If your stone has already shown etch marks,

[00:40.940] stains, scratches, things like that,

[00:42.480] we will send our crew out there, make sure

[00:44.280] everything's protected, then they do a wet sanding.

[00:47.380] Diamond pads resurface everything. That's

[00:50.400] the only way to get rid of the etch marks,

[00:51.780] by actually re-sanding everything and

[00:53.960] then reapplying a sealer of your choice.

[00:56.640] For me, the main recommendation for white marbles is always a

[00:59.140] coating. People mainly, they really like the white marbles.

[01:02.420] Sometimes they're a little bit scared of having that in their

[01:04.620] kitchen because people didn’t really like the maintenance behind it.

[01:07.220] As soon as you pretty much drop anything, it

[01:09.800] leaves a mark. With impregnating sealers,

[01:11.860] it gives you a little bit of time to wipe up, but

[01:14.460] if you leave it long enough, it will leave a mark.

[01:17.020] With the coatings, you don't have to worry about that.

[01:19.420] You spill something, you could leave it there overnight,

[01:22.340] come back the next day, wipe it off, and you have zero damage to the marble.

[01:27.420] One issue we used to see was people wanting limestone

[01:30.400] outdoors, outdoor barbecues, things like that,

[01:34.680] but same thing, it’s too porous, to where people didn’t want to deal

[01:37.660] with that maintenance of etch marks, stains, and things like that.

[01:40.960] Now there's a coating specifically designed for outdoors,

[01:43.940] UV resistant, that can be applied on vertical surfaces.

[01:46.960] It gives you the same peace of mind. You can leave something

[01:50.180] overnight, come back, wipe it off, and live with it.

[01:53.960] We've had a lot of success, like I said,

[01:55.960] mainly in commercial, high-traffic areas.

[01:59.200] You could give us a call. We'll go out there, resurface it, keep it

[02:02.240] maintained, maybe even do a yearly contract to keep it maintained,

[02:06.520] because with natural stone, you want to keep up with the maintenance before

[02:09.660] it's too late. Natural stone is beautiful. You want to maintain that.
